The Print Maps with Courses dialog and the export dialogs (PDF, EPS, bitmap, OCAD, SVG, GPS) have a canvas selector at the top. It controls which canvas, or canvases, the maps are printed or exported from. There are two options:
Use Print Layouts
Condes prints or exports each course according to the Print Layouts configured for that course in the Course dialog. The course list shows each course with its Print Layouts. For each layout it shows which canvas the layout prints from, and which classes use it. Check the layouts you want to print or export.
Each Print Layout is printed from its own canvas, at that canvas's printout scale and with that canvas's graphics layout. This means that a single print run or export can include:
•courses or course parts placed on different canvases (for example adjoining map sheets);
•the same course at different map scales for different classes (for example 1:10,000 for M16 and 1:7,500 for M55);
•several course parts combined on the same map, when a Print Layout groups them together (for example parts 1 and 3 of a course that leaves a map and comes back).
Every course has at least one Print Layout. Condes creates it automatically and points it at the first canvas the course is on, so this option also works for simple events. Use it whenever your event uses more than one canvas.
A specific canvas
When you select a single canvas, Condes prints or exports the selected courses from that canvas only, using its map, printout scale and graphics layout. Print Layouts are ignored.
If a course spans multiple canvases, only the parts placed on the selected canvas are included. Each of the other parts must be printed or exported from its own canvas.
Printout scale
The printout scale is set per canvas, in the Setup Map dialog for that canvas. See also How to - Print and Export scales.
