Frame (Settings for the Layout Frame dialog)

Note: The Setup Layout Frame dialog configures settings for the canvas that is currently active.  If you want to configure one of the other canvases, first select the relevant canvas from the drop-down list.

The Layout Frame is a rectangle that frames the area of the map that will be printed.  This can be used to print a part of the map, for example when the course occupies only a small area, and you do not want to print the entire map.

Each individual canvas has its own Layout Frame and its own frame settings.

You configure the Layout Frame directly in the Course Layout Editor.

Use the menu  "Course Layout" / "Show/Hide Layout Frame" to show or hide the layout frame.

Select the layout frame by clicking on the frame.  Drag either of the corner handles or the side handles to resize the Layout Frame. Drag anywhere on the frame to move the Layout Frame.

You can configure the frame appearance by double-clicking on the frame.
